Questions
Is the Free Plan Really Free?
Yes, with no time limit and no credit card. Track unlimited time on up to 3 active projects, add as many clients as you like, and download PDF invoices to send yourself. Archive a finished project to make room for a new one.
What Happens When I Upgrade or Cancel Pro?
Upgrading unlocks everything right away. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Your data stays; projects beyond the Free limit stay too, you just can't add new ones until you archive some.
What Happens If a Team Cancels?
The team keeps the plan until the end of the period it paid for. After that nothing is deleted: everyone can still look at and export their work, and changes pause until the owner renews. The owner keeps full access, including invoicing clients for time already logged.
How Does Team Billing Work?
Team is $25 per month for your first 3 people, then $6 per month for each person after, or $250 per year for your first 3 people, then $60 per year for each person after. Owners, admins and members count as people; your first 2 viewers are free. When someone joins or leaves, the bill adjusts automatically and is prorated. The owner also gets Pro in their own workspace.
Do My Team Members See What I Charge Clients?
No. Members see the projects you assign them, their own hours and their own pay statement. Client rates, invoice amounts and client contact details stay private. Owners and admins see everything; viewers see clients, invoices and amounts, read-only, and pay rates stay with owners and admins.
Does per.hr Take a Cut of My Payments?
No. Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and PayPal to yours. Stripe and PayPal charge their usual processing fees; per.hr adds nothing on top.
Can I Bring My Data From Another Time Tracker?
Yes. Import a CSV export from Toggl, Harvest or Clockify (or any spreadsheet), including a Person column to bring in a whole team's history, and export everything to CSV whenever you like.
Is There a Discount for Paying Yearly?
Yes. Yearly plans are 2 months free: Pro is $120 per year instead of $144, and Team is $250 per year instead of $300 (extra people $60 per year instead of $72).
Are Taxes Included?
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
