Import Your Hours From TMetric

Export a CSV from TMetric, upload it to per.hr, and check everything in a preview before it's saved.

1. Export From TMetric

In TMetric, open the Detailed report for the dates you want and export it. If it downloads as an Excel file, save it as CSV first.

2. Upload It to per.hr

In per.hr, open Configure → Data → Import time and choose the file.

3. Check the Preview, Then Import

You see the clients, projects and entries before anything is saved. Import, and your hours are ready to invoice.

What Comes Over

per.hr recognizes the TMetric export on its own.

  • Every entry's date, hours and project
  • Projects
  • Issue IDs at the start of each title ("KB-1710: …")
  • Issue links in the entry's notes
  • Start and end times, shown in your time zone

Questions

Will My TMetric Hours Change When They Come Over?

No. Hours come over exactly as they are in the export, with their dates and projects. Rounding settings in per.hr apply to new timer entries, not to imported ones.

Can I Undo an Import?

Yes. Every import is kept as a batch you can undo later from the import page, which removes the entries it added.

Can My Whole Team Import at Once?

Yes. Include a Person column (the export usually has one) and each person's hours go to them. Members can also import just their own hours onto projects they work on.
